Danny McBride’s name seems to be popping up everywhere these days, with prominent roles in “Pineapple Express” and “Tropic Thunder” to an upcoming role in “Land of the Lost” alongside Will Ferrell and a bunch of actors in rubber Sleestak suits. So what does someone vying for the title of “hardest working man in show business” do next?
In an interview with MTV News, McBride joked that he planned to take a cue from Eddie Murphy for the next stage of his acting career. “I’m going to be in the new ‘Golden Girls’ movie,” laughed McBride. “I’m playing all of them… It’s like a ‘Norbit’ thing.”
Now, before we incite a stampede to the “Golden Girls” message boards, be warned: We’re pretty sure Rose, Blanche and the rest of the gang won’t be turning up on the big screen any time soon. But then again, we said that about the Sleestaks, too.
